การศึกษาเพิ่มเติมเกี่ยวกับความหลากหลายของชนิดและสถานะทางการอนุรักษ์ของพืชวงศ์กล้วยไม้ในอุทยานแห่งชาติน้ำตกห้วยยางจังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ ตั้งแต่เดือนเมษายน พ.ศ. 2557 ถึงเดือนพฤษภาคม พ.ศ. 2558 ทำการเก็บตัวอย่างตามเส้นทางศึกษาธรรมชาติเขาหลวงตั้งแต่น้ำตกห้วยยางที่มีระดับความสูง 84 เมตร จนถึงยอดเขาหลวงที่มีระดับความสูง 1,251 เมตร จากระดับน้ำทะเลปานกลาง ซึ่งมีระยะทางประมาณ 7 กิโลเมตร ได้ตัวอย่างจำนวน 37 หมายเลข สามารถระบุชื่อได้ทั้งสิ้น 25 สกุล 27 ชนิด และมี 2 ชนิด ที่ไม่สามารถระบุชื่อได้ กล้วยไม้ส่วนใหญ่พบในป่าดิบเขา โดยทั้ง 29 ชนิดนี้ สามารถแบ่งตามลักษณะถิ่นที่อยู่ได้เป็น กล้วยไม้อิงอาศัย 13 ชนิด กล้วยไม้ดิน 14 ชนิด และ กล้วยไม้ขึ้นบนหิน 2 ชนิด สกุลกล้วยไม้ที่มีจำนวนชนิดมากที่สุดคือ Crepidium ซึ่งมี 4 ชนิด นอกจากนี้ ยังพบว่ามีกล้วยไม้ 2 ชนิด ที่เป็นพืชเฉพาะถิ่น 2 ชนิด ที่มีความเสี่ยงต่อการสูญพันธุ์ 10 ชนิด เป็นชนิดที่ยังไม่เคยมีรายงานในพื้นที่อุทยานแห่งชาติน้ำตกห้วยยางและไม่พบกล้วยไม้บางชนิดที่มีรายงานไว้ในอดีต

     The additional report of species diversity and conservational status of orchids in Huai Yang Waterfall national park, Prachuap Khiri Khan province was conducted from April 2014 to May 2015. Along 7 kilometers of Khao Luang nature trail, of which the elevation ranges from 84 meters at Huai Yang Waterfall to 1,251 meters above mean sea level at the summit of Khao Luang, 37 specimens were collected. The specimens were identified into 25 genera including 27 species and 2 unidentified species. Most orchids occur in hill evergreen forest. Of 29 species, 13 are epiphytes, 14 are terrestrial orchids and 2 are lithophytes. Crepidium is the most common genus represented by 4 species. Moreover, it is found that 2 species are endemic to Thailand, 2 species are threatened, 10 species have never been recorded before in Huai Yang Waterfall national park and some previously recorded species were not found.
