การศึกษาความหลากหลายของมอสส์ในอุทยานแห่งชาติภูกระดึงจังหวัดเลย ดำเนินการสำรวจและเก็บตัวอย่างตั้งแต่เดือนธันวาคม พ.ศ. 2557 ถึงเดือนกุมภาพันธ์ พ.ศ. 2559 โดยศึกษามอสส์ตามเส้นทางศึกษาธรรมชาติจำนวน 6 เส้นทาง สามารถเก็บตัวอย่างมอสส์ได้ 446 ตัวอย่าง จัดจำแนกได้ 26 วงศ์ 47 สกุล 81 ชนิด 5 ชนิดย่อย6 พันธุ์ พบกระจายพันธุ์ในถิ่นอาศัยย่อย 5 แบบ คือ บนพื้นดิน 32 ชนิด บนก้อนหิน 26 ชนิดบนลำต้น 25 ชนิด บนขอนไม้ 4 ชนิด และบนกิ่งไม้ 3 ชนิด มอสส์วงศ์ที่พบมากที่สุด คือ Fissidentaceae (10 ชนิด 2 พันธุ์) รองลงมาคือ Sphagnaceae (8 ชนิด 4 ชนิดย่อย 1 พันธุ์) ในการศึกษาครั้งนี้พบระยะสปอโรไฟต์ของ Octoblepharum pocsii Magill & B. H. Allen เป็นครั้งแรกในประเทศไทย

          Diversity of mosses in Phu Kradueng National Park, Loei province was investigated from December 2014 to February 2016. The specimens were collected along the 6 nature trails. A total of 446 samples were identified into 26 families 47 genera 81 species 5 subspecies and 6 varieties. They distributed in different 5 microhabitats, including terrestrial (32 species), saxicolous (26 species), corticolous (25 species), lignicolous (4 species) and ramicolous (3 species). The common families of mosses are Fissidentaceae (10 species, 2 varieties) and Sphagnaceae (8 species, 4 subspecies, 1 varieties). In addition, the sporophytes of Octoblepharum pocsii Magill & B. H. Allen are reported here for the first time in Thailand.
