การศึกษาความหลากหลายของเทอริโดไฟต์บริเวณป่าดิบเขาต่ำพื้นที่ภูทับเบิกอุทยานแห่งชาติภูหินร่องกล้า จังหวัดเพชรบูรณ์ ตั้งแต่เดือนมีนาคมถึงเดือนธันวาคม พ.ศ. 2556 โดยเก็บตัวอย่างจาก 10 แนวตัวอย่าง (ระยะทางรวมประมาณ 10 กิโลเมตร) ครอบคลุมพื้นที่สูงจากระดับน้ำทะเล 1,600-1,800 เมตร สามารถระบุเทอริโดไฟต์ได้ทั้งสิ้น 20 วงศ์ 53 สกุล 105 ชนิด ในจำนวนนี้ 2 วงศ์ 4 สกุล 4 ชนิดจัดเป็นไลโคไฟต์ ขณะที่ตัวอย่างส่วนใหญ่จัดเป็นโมนิโลไฟต์หรือเฟิร์นในการศึกษาครั้งนี้ พบ Pteris mcclurei Ching และ Plagiogyria euphlebia (Kunze) Mett. เป็นครั้งแรกในประเทศไทย เทอริโดไฟต์ 2  ชนิด คือ Cyclosorus siamensis (Tagawa & K. Iwats.) Panigrahi และ Arthromeris phuluangensis Tagawa & K. Iwats. มีสถานภาพเป็นพืชถิ่นเดียวและพืชมีแนวโน้มใกล้สูญพันธุ์ วงศ์ที่พบได้ทั่วไปคือ วงศ์ Polypodiaceae และ Dryopteridaceae มีจำนวน 24 ชนิด และ 15 ชนิด ตามลำดับ นอกจากนี้ยังพบว่าบางชนิดเป็นพืชที่พบน้อยและเป็นพืชหายาก เมื่อพิจารณาจากลักษณะถิ่นที่อยู่ เทอริโดไฟต์ที่พบส่วนใหญ่ขึ้นบนดิน (61 ชนิด) รองลงมาเป็นพืชอิงอาศัย (39 ชนิด) และที่ขึ้นบนหินพบน้อยที่สุด (5 ชนิด)

     The diversity of pteridophytes was investigated in lower montane rain forest in Phu Thab Boek area, Phu HinRong Kla National Park, Phetchabun province from March to December 2013. A total of 105 species belonging to 53 genera and 20 families of pteridophytes were recorded from 10 transects (ca. 10 kilometers) at altitude ranging from 1,600-1,800 meters above mean sea level.Among these, two families, four genera and four species are lycophytes, the remaining majority being monilophytes or ferns. In addition, Pteris mcclurei Ching and Plagiogyria euphlebia (Kunze) Mett. are new records for Thailand and 2 species namely Cyclosorus siamensis (Tagawa & K. Iwats.) Panigrahi and Arthromeris phuluangensis Tagawa & K. Iwats. are endemic and vulnerable species. Polypodiaceae and Dryopteridaceae are the most common families with 24 and 15 species, respectively. Moreover, it is worth noting that some of these species are uncommon or rare. In regard to habitats, terrestrials(61 species) are the most common, following by epiphytes (39 species) and lithophytes (5 species).
