การสำรวจกล้วยไม้ดินในพื้นที่ป่าธรรมชาติบริเวณมหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวร พะเยา ตั้งแต่เดือนตุลาคม พ.ศ. 2551 จนถึงเดือนกันยายน พ.ศ. 2552 พบกล้วยไม้ดินทั้งสิ้น 8 สกุล 21 ชนิด ใน 2 วงศ์ย่อย คือ วงศ์ย่อย Orchidoideae พบ 3 สกุล และวงศ์ย่อย Epidendroideae พบ 5 สกุล สกุลที่พบชนิดมากที่สุดคือ Habenaria 9 ชนิด รองลงมาคือ Eulophia 4 ชนิด Liparis และ Nervilia สกุลละ 2 ชนิดตามลำดับ อีก 4 สกุลได้แก่ Cymbidium, Pecteilis, Peristylus และ pathoglottis พบสกุลละ 1 ชนิด จำนวนชนิดที่พบมีความหลากหลายไม่แตกต่างจากพื้นที่ป่าอนุรักษ์ใกล้เคียงทางภาคเหนือ และในการสำรวจนี้พบกล้วยไม้หายากคือ Pecteilis susannae (L.) Raf.
The diversity of terrestrial orchids was carried out in natural reserve of Naresuan University, Phayao province, during October 2008 to September 2009. Eight genera with 21 species were recorded, in two subfamilies. There were three genera in subfamily Orchidoideae viz. Habenaria, Pecteilis and Peristylus, and five genera in subfamily Epidendroideae viz. Cymbidium, Eulophia, Liparis, Nervilia and Spathoglottis. Habenaria is the highest species diversity (nine species), followed by four species of Eulophia, and two species each of Liparis and Nervilia, respectively. Cymbidium, Pecteilis, Peristylus and Spathoglottis were found only one species each. The diversity of species found in studied area is not different from the other part of northern region. In addition, Pecteilis susannae (L.) Raf., rare orchid species was also found in the studied area.
