The occurrence of five species of Orchidaceae is newly reported for Myanmar, namely Arachnis cathcartii (Lindl.) J. J. Sm., Cleisostoma complicatum (Seidenf.) Garay, Gastrochilus linearifolius Z. H. Tsi & Garay, Habenaria longitheca Seidenf. and Neottia microphylla (S. C. Chen & Y. B.Luo) S. C. Chen, S. W. Gale & P. J. Cribb. Descriptions, various notes and illustrations are provided.
