Peristylus carnosipetalus Northern Thailand is described and illustrated. The new species is similar to Kurzweil from Chiang Mai Province in P. nematocaulon but differs by having much narrower linear-lanceolate foliage leaves and mostly shorter and generally wider lip spurs.(Hook.f.) Banerji & P. Pradhan from the Himalayas and China
